I had my first consultation / treatment session with Dr. Helen Raynham at DermCare in Natick. Her gentle and friendly manner put me at ease right away. She listened with genuine concern and offered reasonable recommendations for treatment. When performing the biopsy on my skin, Dr. Raynham explained each and every step in a caring way so that my questions were answered. She also worked well with her medical assistant. After the biopsy, Dr. Raynham gave me very clear verbal as well as written instructions for taking care of the wound. At my follow up visit, Dr Raynham explained the test results and further treatment necessary. She gave thorough instructions which were supported by patient education videos on the DermaCare website. I first came to see Dr. Helen Raynham of Dermcare 6 years ago when I was diagnosed with a basal/squamous cell on my nose. It was a very complicated MOHS surgery which Dr. Raynham performed with great expertise. She made me so comfortable during the entire procedure and recovery and was able to calm my fears. The results from the surgery were amazing. Unless I specifically pointed the scar out to someone nobody was able to detect it. Now 6 years later I had to come again for a basal cell on my cheek and Dr. Raynham also biopsied 2 spots on my nose. Both spots on my nose were benign but she was very diligent to try to catch anything that might need to be treated early. My surgery was pretty straightforward this time and again the results are amazing. I cannot recommend Dr. Raynham and her practice highly enough. Everyone I came in contact with was kind and caring.
