A few days later, we had heavy rain for about 48 hours, and ants from outside tried to find dry ground in our home. I called Cook's Pest Control, and they came back out to treat the problem again. Finally! Bought a house and it came with a ton of free-loading creepy crawly tenants. I had everything but mice (spiders, roaches, ants, you name it). I called another pest control company that had more five stars than Cooks and I'm pretty sure they sprayed bug food because all my tenants were excited and active after that. Not at all dead. My aunt kept recommending cooks and after a roach surprised me while brushing my teeth and I called. I should have just done that to begin with and I wouldn't have such a fear of opening drawers. The sales person on the phone was great. He was pest control/therapist as he talked me off the ledge of burning my house to the ground. Terance and his team came out right away. After they finished laughing about all my sticky traps, bug powder, and "Bugs Keep Out" merchandise, they got to work. I have never seen a pest control company do what they did. Usually they come in a spray water on the baseboard. Cook's closed my flue, smoked my chimney, sprayed the window seals, smoked and sealed the kitchen and bathroom, spread granules in the attic, set out gel for them to take back to their nest, they swept around my doors, windows, eves, and garage door, they sprayed all around the outside of the house. I mean this was like a 2-3 hour pest extermination. And finally I had some relief. I'm still scared of opening drawers and I have seen one or two spiders still trying to figure out to escape the death house but that's it. Everything else has been eradicated or at least moved out. Terence even called the next day to check in and make sure I wasn't having any issues. This place is pricey but the piece of mind is worth every penny.

I learn quite a bit from these folks. Nikki came by a few days ago and she teaches me some things each trip. The detail she went through last trip taking adequate time for each step is an example of decreases of bugs we've seen indoors. Also I do not hear or see evidence as much for mice in the basement. Also she showed me some tricks to use with the rat traps outside which also were involving a snake. Get these folks to work with you. It has helped us.

We suffer with ants in our home. The first time we have ever had this issue. I saw one of the cook technician in the neighborhood and asked him for his card. He stated he had been serving this are for over 16 years. We called them and they had an inspector at our home in 24 hours and the technician I saw in the neighborhood put us on his schedule the next morning. We also purchase termite treatment. We do not have termites, but prevention is being proactive. The price was very affordable, because we were expecting to pay much more. Thank you!

I paid for it, and the resident said afterwards that they was detailed in helping with the areas to treat. We have two more elderly residents that need treatment, and can't afford the treatments. My program, Therapy Buddies Neighborhood Care Team- Neighbors Helping Neighbors, will seek donations to help them and other elders tbat can't afford to get help with bugs infesting their homes! My tech (Nathan) let's me know the day before he's coming in case I have anything specific causing me issues. I love preventable approach instead of reacting to problems.

I've been a Cook's customer for several years and am very happy with their services. I took one star off because I called Cook's to have a bait trap moved for some construction and when the technician came out to move the trap he cut my Spectrum cable line when putting the new trap in the ground. I think Cook's should call 888 (I think that's the free number for locating utility lines.) before they dig.

Cooks seemed to be great at the beginning. Haven't gotten pest control service Sep. Termite service has always been on time. However, I wanted the full service but can't get it. Cooks also does the company I work for and I will definitely let them know that they do not take care of employees personal needs. Time to look for another company for service. UPDATE: Pest Control services are back. Had to speak to the manager twice. New software is what they are blaming all this on. Anyway, the service has been back for 3 months and couldn't be happier with the technicians customer service.

We've had Cooks for over 10 years. One thing I really like about this company is that we have also had the same technician (John) all along. Other companies we tried in the past would send out a different person every few months. As soon as you got one you liked, they'd send you the new guy they just hired. With Cooks we get an experienced technician every time that goes above and beyond what they have to do. We rarely see a bug in our house but when we do they are dead or dying. We don't have termite treatment, but regular pest control.

We began using Cooks after my wife had good dealings with them through her work. The rep that inspected our home was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He had the verbiage memorized to a t... not from someone who was spouting something from a manual, but with the air of someone who knows what they do and takes pride in it. The actual terminator, according to my wife, is extremely nice and professional as well. The service seems a little expensive compared to other terminators, but once again, you get what you pay for.
