For those of us who have suffered the misfortune of discontinuing service with a termite bond provider, it’s all too familiar the logistical annoyance of acquiring a new one. No pest control company will extend you the goodwill of offering a quote for a bond without inspecting the interior of the structure, which necessitates that you have to be on the premises and take time out of your schedule without knowing if the quote is even within your budget; however only some companies will offer that goodwill in another capacity. Cook’s is one such company. In fact, although I’m only a recent customer my experience thus far has led me to believe that there is more than enough goodwill to go around. While shopping for a quote another company’s rep sounded verbally irritated when I asked to schedule later in the evening, but Cook’s rep Alyssa made every effort to accommodate my schedule. She was polite, conducted a brief inspection and spoke with me for several minutes answering all of my questions (I had a few). She also offered me a good deal because I had previous coverage from another provider. Further, everything she said was consistent with the contract that I received later; which wasn’t true from another company I was shopping a quote from. Lastly, the termite technician came out right before it stormed and finished my service even though it was lightly raining, which was appreciated. My only complaint for leaving off the fifth star is that when the 2 pest technicians came out they both had me sign on a phone and when I asked very specially and clearly if there was a document attached to my signature they both said no and it was just a confirmation that they had performed service, however I received an email later with the document I was signing. Neither of them had terms listed I found disagreeable, but I would have liked to read that before offering my signature. Overall I highly recommend Cook’s for their professionalism, courtesy and willingness to inconvenience themself for good customer service. Not all termite companies are created equal, but it seems that Cook’s is well above the mean.

I recently had a visit from a technician from the pest and mosquito company, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The technician arrived right on time and greeted me with a friendly smile, immediately putting me at ease. They took the time to explain the entire process, walking me through what they would be doing and answering all of my questions patiently. Throughout the visit, the technician was professional yet approachable, sharing useful tips on how to keep pests under control between treatments. I really appreciated their attention to detail, making sure every area of concern was addressed. By the end of the service, I felt confident that my home was in great hands. It was an easy, positive experience, and I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable pest control with a personal touch!

Alyssa came and did a home inspection for some bugs. She was professional and knowledgeable. The thing that impressed me the was her honesty. She didn't use any fear tactics to get me to purchase something I didn't need. I would definitely recommend Cook's Pest Control .
We have been Cook's customers for many years. The service is dependable and if we have issues in between quarterly treatments, they are always quick to come out and take care of the problem. My daughter and I are allergic to wasps, and these pests are common on our farm. Cooks keeps them in check, and we never see any bugs in the house. Recommend them highly as a good local Alabama owned company.

Cooks Pest Control does a fantastic job with our termite contract. They installed a new Sentricon system in the previous year and we just had our annual inspection. I must say everything was extra thoroughly done, one technician went to inspect the outside bait traps and one tech stayed in the house and literally inspected everything in detail. We’ve had a different company before and no inspection was ever done quite so thoroughly as this one. I was very very impressed by how everything went and how professional both technicians behaved. I’ve been recommending Cooks to other residents in our neighborhood and will happily continue to do so!
Kay Lauber

Very good process from start to finish and we would recommend them fully.

I have been with Cooks Pest Control for 4 or 5 years now! The inspector that came out here was very professional and did just what he was suppose to do. After he was done he came back and informed me there were no signs of termites in none of my stations. I was very happy to hear that. After he was done he took time to ask me uf I had any questions or concerns I need to talk to him about. Thank you Cooks for your services you are providing to me. Cook's Pest Control is the best in its field in every regard. I appreciate the thorough inspections as well as the opportunity to protect my home with the Sentricon System bait stations. The folks who come to service my home are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.
Daniel Millis
The people who service are always professional. I always receive a call the day prior to an inspection or service asking if it is convenient for me to have them come by at a set time period. They always arrive during the time they say they will. Moreover, I receive a report no more than 24 hours later. In fact, I do not believe that I have ever waited that long for a report. The reports are detailed enough for me to understand what the service provider did. I use both their termite and pest control services and would recommend Cook's Pest Control to anyone needing such services.
Shanita Peoples
Love them!
Rosemary McLain
These people have been very professional and efficient since we left our previous, inscrutable and incompetent provider that we were with for over 30+ years
Pamela Irby
My first experience with Cooks Pest Control was great. My home had become invaded by unwanted pest that apparently had multiplied so I contacted Cook's and just to know that even though I was on a quarterly contract for extermination , that I could still call no matter how many times I needed to. This was perfect because the invader's had gotten out of control and I needed a visit a little more that quarterly for starts. I am perfectly satisfied at this moment and hope to continue to stay satisfied.

Honest upfront business. I had some wood structure contact from ground to my house. They let me know I couldn't get insured ( still did termite control, just no bond ) I removed wood contact from ground to house like they told me. Called and they came back out asap to look at and termite insurance papers in hand for me to sign. Had Terminix for years. Was about 300 per year. Than 3 years ago they all of sudden wanted 3000+ a year. Switched to Cooks and have been very happy with them. Very honest and reliable !
Chuck Barrett
We've been with Cook's for quite a few years now, and I have always felt very secure when it comes to having any kind of unwanted creatures in, or around our home.... Very fair pricing as well... Chuck Barrett Daphne

Ultreya
Learned only too late that these guys are a little more spendy than the competition, but that you get a little extra for that extra money. Went with them because the house had a previous contract and they gave $100 off. The customer service was outstanding – – very professional and patient from the initial contact through to the handful of service calls we have had so far. The gentleman who came out the first time to do the termite inspection and contract was super chill and the kind of person you would want to marry into your family. It's too soon to see about the success controlling outside pests, but we have confidence that they will make it right no matter what.
Tiffany Alford

Audrey Evans
I started getting Cooks services after me and my boyfriend were getting ready to move into a rental house. When we checked it out, it was perfect, however, the day before we moved in we went to see it again and it was infested with fleas. Cooks came and sprayed and we started our monthly service with them. We have used them for 3 years. We never saw a roach or spider in our house and have never had problems. We moved and bought our own house and the first thing we did was tell our Cooks guy so he could come start spraying. We absolutely Adore our Cooks guy and won't be changing anytime soon. We highly recommend Cooks for their great service, great pricing, great work, and great employees. Thank you Cooks for being a part of our lives and continuing your hard work!
Debbie Clark

Today (after nearly 3 months of trying to just get a company to bond my house, you guys did an amazing job! Cooks was the ONLY company that took the time to show me what all I needed to accomplish for y’all to give me a termite bond. I’ve had FOUR other companies not show, never call back, and one that called while he was in my front yard (didn’t even bother to come inside) and say “my home is disqualified for a bond bc my moisture barrier was attached to the bottom of my homes floor.” By the time I got outside I saw the guy drive off. You guys stuck with me, showed me what I needed to do (easy fix) and came out and installed the proper equipment IN NO TIME. BEST PEST COMPANY ON THE GULF COAST!
Carla Rizzati

Ray Reynolds

Our service person, Jonathan, is absolutely awesome. It’s like having an old friend stop by once a month. Cook’s Pest Control has been by far the best service experience we’ve ever had for our home. We tell others about your service and can pretty much guarantee you that you have a customer for life. It’s been several years since we’ve been using Cook’s, so I can’t remember his name, but the salesperson who originally came out and signed up up was very kind and easy to work with.

Denise Sanders
The difference has been the technicians. Both for the pest and the termite services. Although I have been through multiple technicians they have all been very likable and respectful. Several have become friends. I have been a loyal “cookie” customer for over ten years and plan to remain.
Casey Roberts
Great company!
Tami York
What I like the most are the termite bait stations placed around the entire perimeter of my home. This nearly invisible line of defense against those destructive little pests offers unmatched peace of mind. The routine periodic checks of the stations, along with bait replacement when termite activity is detected, reinforces the confidence my home is being protected from future damage. The technicians who perform these checks, as well as the ones who have the unfortunate task of crawling under my house every Spring to perform yearly inspections, have always been knowledgeable, friendly and professional.... they are rock stars! I highly recommend Cook's Pest Control to any homeowner who is looking for a comprehensive termite service that is effective and reasonably priced.
Terri Broadhead

Well so far I've just had the mosquito spraying done today but I didn't feel like the tech used enough of the spray or fog is what I was told they would use . He did not get underneath and go upward , since he sprayed just for the mosquitoes, I've been eaten alive by them where as before , I wasn't getting eaten alive. I hope they do better when I call them back out . They are supposed to come tomorrow to do the regular pest control service ..
Daniel Stephens

Cooks is wonderful for our termite bond and yearly inspection!
After being blown off by a Terminix tech in the initial inspection phase I ended up being absolutely blown AWAY by the absolutely amazing service from Cook's! The tech was very professional and he was up front about being an inexperienced tech and went so far as to offer a follow-up visit by his boss. I should have listened to the old Cook's jingle that played in my head every time I thought about pest control in the first place!
Great job all around. Have used other termite services in the past. Cant go wrong with Cook's. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!
