I like that I get to know my service tech and develop a relationship. I also like that their service is tailored to my home. When we first moved into our new house we had ants, and the service tech identified each of the species on the property and treated them specifically. I like that I have my technicians phone number and can text them directly if I have a problem and they come out at no extra charge to fix it. Better yet, I rarely have to use that because they get it done right the first time. Mostly, I like that the treatments work very well without ever putting something in the house.

I've used Cook's termite protection for years, but never had a need for their pest control until this week. One evening I noticed a pile of soil beside my patio and could see the opening to a tunnel under the concrete. By the next day the pile had become huge. I was concerned that a network of tunnels might cause the patio to crack or even collapse. I called Cook's and received a prompt response from a technician named Jason. He was wonderful. One look and he said it was probably either a chipmunk or a vole. He set a trap and a few hours later we had caught the largest chipmunk I've ever seen. Jason set a new trap and checked it regularly for the next 2 days. We caught a mouse, but no more chipmunks. When the patio was poured a small opening had been left where it joined the foundation, and must have looked inviting to a rodent shopping for a new home. I had planned to fill in the opening with concrete once we were sure all the chipmunks were gone. But when I got home at the end of the 2nd day, I saw that Jason had already sealed the opening. He solved my problem, kept me informed by texts throughout the process, and was kind and thoughtful, as well. He did more than he had to do, and certainly more than I had expected. Thank you, Jason!
