Cooks was our pest control company
We have used cooks for many years. The past 4 month I have has problem with the technician that comes out to perform the services. The technician does not do the thing he list on your bill, but is billing me for services. I call and asked for a new technician never got one. I call as asked to speak to the Manager he never called me back. I call again I was told that an email was sent to the Manager with my phone number and name and I still never got a call. I call again an told them not to sent the same technician to my house but they still schedule him to come out. I called that day to cancel my contract that how I found out that they were still going to send the same technician back. I cancel my contract that day. On the visit in question 7/20/22 my neighbor saw the technician from cooks setting in the truck and never got out to do the service that I paid him for. On the bill he stated and I quote " I swept the eaves windows and doors to remove webs and wasp nests (they were still there when I came home) "Also I inspected, cleaned and baited the ant stations around your home." (The ant stations were dry) Please see the attachment document.

When dealing with 85 rental properties in Southside, you will come across pests from time to time. They have all of our contracts for one simple reason, Tim Dumas, our tech. Words cannot describe this man's work ethic and his wonderful personality. Had it not been for him, we would have changed companies a long time ago. He always goes above and beyond for us. I can not spew enough kind words about this man! In my opinion, things that need a little tweaking: billing for customers and the customer service interaction with upper level management if ever needed. Cook's still gets 5 stars but ALL off of the back of Tim Dumas!

Customer service was awesome I called they sent inspector within three hours he told me what I needed and he told me the technician would call me the following day to set up a time for my first treatment. He also gave me several contact numbers in case I ever needed them after hours. The technician called the following day and we agreed on 8 am the following day . He arrived 5 minutes early did what he needed to do and was very polite and cordial during the entire visit 24 hour later no pests

I used the services of Cook's Pest Control for monthly pest control services and they sprayed for mosquitoes.
We really like them. We pay them $37 a month for monthly service and $55 for mosquito control. It was amazing. We used them for mosquito control only for a certain amount in a year. Within 24 hours, 80% of the mosquitoes were gone and it continued to decline for the next day. We might see one mosquito a day until it wears off. We have a stream behind our house, so we have a bit of a problem with the mosquitoes. We have never seen anything like it and it's really great. The price is fair.
They were here to spray for bugs and pests at their last visit.
They are reliable and their cost is reasonable. I will continue to use this company in the future for our pest control.

I use Cook's Pest Control. I have signed a contract with them. The initial sign up and every month, the charge is $35. They come and check once a month. They did the work probably on Wednesday of last week.
I would rate them an A overall. I would use them in the future.

Cooks sprays the outside area of my 3000 square foot home for termites. They also put little termite prevention devices in my yard. I pay quarterly for this service.
I am quite pleased with Cooks. They are very good at what they do. They are responsible and reliable. That is what I like best about their great service.
They came and checked for seasonal pests. They sprayed the outside of my 1600 square foot home. They removed the spider webs and left bait for the pests as well.

I had the inside and outside of my house sprayed for bugs. They also sprayed the crawl space and set traps for roaches.
They came out when they were suppose to and they called first. Cook s have been in business for along time, and they have a good reputation. I haven t seen a single bug since they sprayed. They did a good job and they guarantee their work.
For those of you who use Vulcan Termite and Pest Control. This past July when Vulcan did our termite inspection they told me since our house was built
Pest Control & General Handyman Hi West Winders! We are needing to find a pest control person to get the fire ants under control and do the termite inspections/treatments. We are also looking toward Spring/Summer cleaning. Being as we are getting old/creaky we will likely need someone to help with everything from pool cleaning (aboveground) to gutters. We are going to attempt to stain the back deck and do a few things there, but if our backs go out and our knees complain, we will likely have to get someone for that too!
