I visited the Chinook location and had the pleasure of meeting Tracy, who was truly the most kind and caring person I’ve ever encountered. I was a bit distressed because my sandals, which I had purchased there, had a loose buckle. Tracy kindly took the time to fix them for me, and her warmth and helpfulness meant so much. Thank you, Tracy, for your wonderful care, and thank you, Browns, for having such compassionate staff at this location.

I had an acceptable experience of brown shoes in Chinook mall thanks to Sandy. From the moment I walked in, she was friendly, engaging, and genuinely attentive to my needs. She took the time to help me find what I was looking for without any pressure and our customer service was truly outstanding. Because of her professionalism and warm attitude, I will definitely be a return customer at that location . Highly recommend asking for her if you’re stopping by this location.

What really makes a difference in a store, for me, is the people who work there — and this Browns location truly stands out. From the moment I called the store to when I picked up my shoes, the service was exceptional. Tracey, the assistant manager, and the team were absolutely amazing: kind, helpful, and genuinely attentive. They made the whole experience easy and pleasant, both over the phone and in person. Thank you for such great service. I will definitely return.

Browns offers good services, and the selection of shoes is impressive. However, it sometimes feels like the staff pushes additional items without clearly mentioning their price. This slightly affects the overall experience. Greater transparency and more focus on customer needs would make a big difference.

My husband and I had a great experience here. I forget her name but she gave amazing customer service! We tried on several brands of shoes for walking and she suggested the ON brand. Sold! They didn’t have my size and normally I don’t order through the store but because the customer service was so beyond amazing, I ordered the pair. Sadly they didn’t have the size for my husband in the color he wanted. This lady deserves a raise!! 10/10 service.

Pegah was extremely helpful when I was shopping at Browns in Calgary Chinook Centre on January 11, 2024. I had bought some Blundstones online and came to pick them up. I tried them on in store and realized they weren’t what I was hoping for. Pegah showed me all the different styles, explained the difference between them and then brought out various sizes and styles for me to try, even changing the insoles for each showing me the difference that the winter ones made to the fit. They did this all while also helping another customer, smiling and patiently waiting while I made a decision. They were neither overbearing nor absent. I hope they will receive some sort of recognition because the time they took with me and the knowledge of the product they have is rare in retail these days.

Usually service at Brown’s is a hit or miss but my latest visit was a hit! I actually went in a few days earlier but they didn’t have my size in a certain shoe. They ordered 2 sizes for me and once they came in I went to try one pair on. The other had not arrived yet. The associates have been quite helpful as of late and I haven’t been disappointed. Thanks team!

They have a better collection of shoes/boots. I bought a pair of UGG boots. The salesman was friendly and helpful. Also they try to sell you smart(which isn’t a complaint) They didn’t have the exact color and size which I needed, so they arranged to get delivered to my home for free. And the package came within 2 days through FedEx. The whole experience was good at Browns.

The staff at Chinook are more knowledgeable than the staff at any other location. The customer service we received from Lucas and Emily was fantastic. They are definitely an asset to this location.

Gordon Conrad gave my wife and I an unbelievable experience! I was going to pay $250.00 for new blundstone’s and he showed us how to take care of our used blundstone’s and they are now good as new! He saved us a bunch of money and was knowledgeable about all the product in the store. Highly recommend seeking him out of you are in the store!

I was helped by Armin today while looking for a pair of Chelsea boots and sneakers. Armin was an excellent and friendly sales person. He was able to answer all my questions about the Chelsea boots, explained to me how wear and tear affects those specific boots, how to best maintain them, and also recommended another pair of sneakers that were on discount that complemented my original purchase. Highly recommend checking out Browns.

Bright and nice store. I like the Browns collection for shoes as they have quite a few dupes from designer shoes. Since Chinook is a large mall most stores have more stock on items. Browns is one of them, I come here when that’s the case. I find that the personnel is usually attentive and nice if you have questions but the couple of times I’ve been at this location I had a couple of salespeople not being as professional or interested if you are not buying or if There is hesitation on a pair of shoes you might buy. But that’s the exception most salespeople are Happy and willing to help. I prefer the Southcentre location or buy online.

Wow I am blown away by the service here. I was helped by a man name Armin and he really did a stand out job. He really knew a lot about the facts of shoes and helped me out so much with finding me the perfect shoe for my event! His costumer service was 10/10! I will definitely be coming to this store again and I absolutely recommend coming to this store they have wonderful shoes that are all very high quality!

Unparalleled service! Gordon at the Chinook location surpassed any experience I have had at a shoe store. I was trying on a pair of boots and had walked to the mirror to see them. When I looked over, Gordon was polishing the shoes I had worn into the store!! I have never seen someone go above and beyond like that. Phenomenal service and Gordon has made me a customer for life!

A BIG shout out to a salesperson named Sandra , that works at your Chinook Location . She immediately came and asked if she could help . I told her what I was looking for and she took me right to the product I was looking for. Unfortunately they did not have my size , she checked the computer for stock at other stores , no luck . However - she was so knowledgeable about other products in the store, she kept coming up with solutions , until Eureka - we found something that worked ! My experience at this Browns was spectacular to say the least. Came to shop for Blundstone and was assisted by one of the girls who explained the difference between models. After deciding on a winter version (with sheep sole) it turned out they didn't have my size. I was advised to get order it through the store and get this shipped directly to my home from head office. I received the shoes about a week and a half after order was placed, however the sheep sole was missing from the package. I called the number on the invoice and was told that the warehouse is out of them. So I did call the store and a girl by name Emily went out of her way locating the sole, and shipped it to my house. They came with FedEx in 2 days. I would recommend this store to anyone to shop for high quality shoes and amazing service!
