I come to you not as a patient, but as a mammal. A Human. If you do not see Dr. Breer, or Koa, or even a in between them-not-being-available-message-from-Mariah, you have not lived... Forget the fact that I had first been a patient of what used to be called "Chesterfield Dermatology" and I had warts on my neck for nearly 10 years that the amazing Dr. Pooja Dorwood resolved after 3 weeks. I had no issues since. That was then. Within the first weeks of January 2026 I woke up and my upper lip (which are already unintentionally thick/big and hysterically luscious to begin with) swollen to a obviously un-natural state. I could not really speak and was highly uncomfortable. This was due to a cyst nodule forming above my lip in the mustache area. The fluid ruptured and gravity brought it to the upper lip. Although I had previously attempted to make appts for other family members online/phone and was not returned, when I went in haste with my lip, the staff (1) apologizes for any lack of comm (2) got me in same day (3) Dr Breer and Koa took care of me immediately and received an injection, allowed my overly social and curious 7 year old daughter to ask 4901 questions and answered all of them in a demeanor the way a hip aunt or Wise Uncle/Grandpa would (4) within 24 hours lip receded to normal thickness :) (5) The mind blowing level of care that the next day Dr. Breer personally reached out to me from the hospital where a immediately family member was having a major invasive spine surgery but still reached out to check on me. (6) 2 weeks went by and I was awaiting my appt with the surgeon they referred me to, the lip swelling began again during a severe snow storm and all staff were out Mariah reached out to me online and forwarded my lip pictures to Dr Breer (7) They got me in the next day (8) my consultation with the surgeon is this week. What else is there to say? Go here, come here, get here for any derm. concerns. If the staffs souls are this beautiful imagine what they can do for you on the outside? :) Always Your Grateful Patient,

I am at high risk for skin cancer having foolishly spent decades in the sun unprotected. In addition I have a kidney transplant so my immune system is necessarily compromised. When I have an unusual skin condition I have Dr. Ring check it to determine if it’s skin cancer. Dr. Ring has a very high batting average in identifying skin cancer. Probably 75% of the biopsies he has performed on me have been cancerous. If experience and success are important to you Dr. Ring is an outstanding choice for a dermatologist.

I came up with terribly itchy spots up and down my legs Sat AM. I was terrified that it was a fungus from the table at the Acupuncturist. 😬 West County Dermatology got me in as a new patient on Monday morning. Much to my relief, after discussing my last ten days of activities, Dr. Miles said it was mites and we figured it was cardboard box mites from the shed I cleaned out nine days prior. Not only has he found several melanomas early enough to remove without worry, he also miraculously found that my thyroid was enlarged, which led me down the path to have it checked out, and it turned out to be thyroid cancer. A dermatologist who identified a non-skin related cancer… there really is nothing more to say!! I am only 43 years old, and I feel like he has literally saved my life more than once. The dermatologist my husband and I have seen for years, Michael Mcadden, referred us to WCD and a new partner he had taken on, Dr. Beck. I have no complaints about her skills, however, when you call the office, everything is a recording and you have no choice but to leave a voicemail. And to add insult to injury, the message states that they will respond between 24 to 48 hours. So guess what? If you happen to be in a meeting, and can't take the returned call....you guessed it-you have to leave another message. Ridiculous, frustrating to say the least. I have NEVER experienced this lack of customer service with a physician's office. Presently, I am trying to get a prescription refilled before a long vacation and the pharmacy has called twice with no response from the office.
