Love Camp Smile! Dr. Seamans is so lovely, all of the staff have gone out of their way to make my nervous kiddos feel comfortable and safe. My youngest had her first dentist visit because of tooth trauma, and they fit us in within a couple of hours. When we have had some administrative issues, they were apologetic and willing to work with me to rectify the situation, and a supervisor called me after the fact to apologize again and ensure they could improve. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist!

Momo is nonverbal and has many sensory needs, yet the care, patience, and understanding they show him is incredible. As a mom of a child with special needs, this means everything to me. His doctors know his needs well and are always willing to accommodate him. The environment and staff are warm, welcoming, and professional. She has this way about her that didn’t sugar coat a procedure but also made my child comfortable and understand exactly what was going to happen/ happening. We have had a fabulous experiment at Camp Smile! Not our typical in and out which has been the usual experience with this office and part reason we've been coming here. We ended up with quite a bit of wait time (first time as they are usually really good about appointments) but the staff could not have been any sweeter and nicer about it. They went above and beyond to acknowledge and accommodate our delay and we left the office very impressed. Delays happen anywhere and most of the time are somewhat out of one's control. So to have experienced such elevated service and support for a one time delay we've experienced, was inspiring. I cannot recommend this office and the staff enough!

This is our 2nd visit to Camp Smile. It’s a great pediatric dentist - the lobby has a huge truck for kids to play on & after their appointment, each child receives a token to use for the bouncy ball machine & get to take one home. Communication via text reminders is helpful & you receive a report card for each child reviewing the apt & status of teeth & gums. Most importantly of all though, we were running behind due to a potty accident & the receptionist quickly moved appointments around to still accommodate us, I really appreciated that.

Shout out to Dr. Maguire, Dr. Alyssa, and the awesome dental assistant whose name I did not catch. I was watching my brother’s kids for the weekend and my nephew had a trampoline park-related dental emergency. The on-call team communicated with me, his vacationing (and worried) parents, and his orthodontist brilliantly and took amazing care of my nephew. There was no doubt that they cared about my nephew and the future of his injured teeth. The emergency care we received was top notch. I highly recommend this group!!!! The Camp Smile staff in Excelsior, MN are truly outstanding, starting with the receptionist, dental hygienist and doctors. My daughter has special needs, developmental delays and behavior issues. She is a challenging patient to say the least and the staff is amazing with her! Prior to Camp Smile, we visited 4 other pediatric dentists and we fell in love with the Camp Smile team. Previously, we sedated our daughter to get work done in her mouth. Today, I am happy to report she does not need sedation and she even cooperated getting her 3D x-ray! She had a fluoride treatment and flossing done as well - no crying. The teams uses techniques that cater to the individual regardless of cognitive/behavior levels. I highly recommend this location and team of professional.

We had a dental emergency. The emergency on call contacted us back within 10 minutes and had a plan within 15. We were seen the next day with no rush and a dentist that answered my very nervous child's every question. She was wonderful and looked to me to proceed or call it. I can't even begin to describe how freaking amazing our experience was. From the minute we walked in, my kids (and I) loved the look and the iPad and the Play structure. But most importantly, the staff was beyond nice and encouraging to the kids. Ashley, Laura, the front desk ladies and Dr. Seamans were top notch. They were all friendly, funny, and confident. It was awesome seeing them work as a team and they all seemed happy to be there. The x-rays were clear and they explained everything in detail. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. We called for an appointment and was able to scheduled one the same day. My son was complaining of his teeth hurting. The dentist determined the pain was due to a cavity. After being told of our pending vacation plans, out of state and in 3 days, the dentist gave up her lunch time and filled my son's cavity instead of scheduling him at a later date. They were quick and efficient. We really appreciated their expertise with infants and toddlers. Only wish they were in network for our insurance. They dropped off our insurance network this year after being in network last year and we are super sad about that.

We've been visiting the Excelsior location for about 2 years now and they've always been fantastic! They were able to put my son (4 now) at ease immediately and he's been a great patient since. My daughter (2) just had her first appointment. The clinic was willing to stay open a few minutes late to accommodate our tardiness (totally our fault), and then they were great with her apprehension and patient with her crying. The visit ended with them gifting her a pair of sunglasses to help cheer her up. They are GREAT and they really care about their little patients! 10/10 would recommend!

When we walked through the door my 6-year old son exclaimed “I love this place!” Everyone is so kid-friendly and they know exactly how to make kids feel comfortable with what they’re doing! They also have a really nice “sibling space” with two chairs so that 1 parent can take 2 kids at the same time, which is so helpful for me! We were referred to Camp Smile by our family dentist for one of my kids on a specialty procedure not provided by our dentist. We were able to make an appointment right away at the Excelsior location, and had a very good experience. The communication was great, and the office was unlike any other I have experienced - geared toward children of all ages, it is decorated really fun and they put my son at ease, and even got him to smile when they put on the sunglasses:) Ultimately, they advised us that is was not necessary to go ahead the procedure, offering an clear explanation which genuinely felt reassuring and commendable. While we are not even regular clients of Camp Smile, I have nothing but positive comments from our one time experience and would recommend them to anyone, especially with kids - they are great!

Wonderful Pediatric Dentist! Went for my daughter’s first visit (a little late). She’s almost 5 and was too afraid to sit in the chair. They let her sit in my lap in a regular chair and were able to coax her into letting them do a full cleaning with all of the tools. They even let her operate the dentist chair to try & ease her weariness about it. She left with a huge smile on her face. Would highly recommend!

What a great experience! My family and I are absolutely impressed with Camp Smile, as well as Midwest Dental Anesthesia. I am beyond grateful for how we were treated throughout my son's process with regard to getting his teeth fixed. We had another phenomenal visit today! Great hours, diverse staff (super important to us), and calm yet fun atmosphere. We have a little one who had pretty bad dental anxiety and a mouth that loves involved dental care. We went to camp smile after a really traumatizing experience somewhere else. Camp smile asked about the kids’ anxiety as part of the new patient registration and then blew our expectations out of the water in how they handled it. By visit three today, our child said he was excited for his next appointment, which is the same treatment that was traumatizing for him at the other place. I teared up on my way out thinking of what they’ve done for him. They truly know how to work with kids through respect and patience. The kids both gave them an A+.

Wonderful experience with our two girls and Dr. Kiley. We’d been to our normal dentist and to say it didn’t go well with our four year old is an understatement. After showing her the site, practicing with her, and talking a lot about it...we went in today. The hygienist and doctor were SO patient with them and it didn’t feel like we were being rushed or pressured at all. It took a little while...but our hygienist showed them gloves, the equipment, knew little games...finally they got comfortable. Both girls left having their examination done, having brushed or cleaned their teeth and still had smiles (and not one tear). HUGE success, thanks team!

Our hygienists were absolutely PHENOMENAL! Especially since my son has special needs including very high sensory processing issues. Serena spoke so gently with him, allowed him enough time to acclimate to every step of the process, including allowing him to use a cup for rinsing instead of the sprayer. My daughter has anxiety regarding dentists due to a bad experience at a different pediatric dentistry office. Prior to our first visit, I let them know about her anxiety. They not only listened but took it seriously. During that first appointment they took their time with her, explaining everything that they were going to do, showing her all the tools, and constantly asking her if she was comfortable. They showed then and continue to now that the comfort of the patient is at the forefront of what they do, not pushing as many patients through as they can for monetary reasons.

They diligently check the kids and clearly articulate to us any issues, treatment plan and anything else that is important for us to know. They take us into confidence before every procedure. It was my 2.5 year old’s second appointment but likely the first he knew what was happening and katie the hygienist did her best to put him at ease. She let him touch everything, showed him how all the tools worked and even let him hold the suction thing. He let her use her power brush on one tooth but opened wide for the manual brush with cotton candy toothpaste. Dr Maguire was also awesome with him working quickly and kindly. We are so happy with Camp Smile!

My son chipped his tooth over a holiday weekend. Dr. McGuire was on call and was wonderful helping us out, putting us at ease during a stressful situation. The Monday following, we got a prompt phone call from the administrative staff to schedule a follow up appointment. We had an excellent visit with Ashley and Dr. Leuer. Only 4* because I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out new patient forms. We arrived 25 minutes early to a note on the desk stating they were out to lunch and will arrive back at 1:00 (our appointment time) so we weren’t taken back until 1:20pm. I understand people need to eat but would have been happy to see new patient forms on the desk for us. A waste of 45 minutes-hour is a lot for a busy mom!

My daughter had 2 baby teeth pulled since adult teeth hadn't pushed them out. The roots were still intact, and Dr. Bobbi and her team made sure my daughter was comfortable and basically unaware of what was going on. Before she knew it, the teeth were out. I brought my 4 year old and 18 month old in for a regular check-up today. Harriet welcomed us warmly and helped navigate an insurance issue. Kaylee and Danielle (dental assistants) were literally perfect from start to finish, learning about my girls' medical/dental history and providing me with helpful tips and then preparing them for Dr. Bell's time with them. Danielle not only answered my 4 year old's numerous questions, but also managed to do a full cleaning AND take x-rays. Success! Kaylee made my 18 month old feel comfortable and went above and beyond in keeping her calm and entertained. Dr. Bell is both fun and professional. She was very efficient in checking my girls' teeth while maintaining an energy that made them feel comfortable. She gave me very direct observations and guidance - exactly what I look for in medical providers. The only tears came when I said it was time to leave... We will be back!!!

Love this place, we just had our first visit. Took a little longer than expected, but it was worth it. Our granddaughter has selective mutisim , the staff here just knew how to handle things, got her first exam done so quickly, came up with a treatment plan,answered all our questions, got right to the point. Wonderful, comfortable, unclinic type of feel, very trendy and homey feeling. I wish they accepted adults. Dentist she saw was awesome, I have never had any professional work as good as she did with our granddaughter, with the dentist not having to spend time coaxing and bribing her, we need to learn her tactics to use here at home.

Taking a 2 & 4 year old to the dentist for the first time is not for the fainthearted, and the Camp Smile team made the event downright enjoyable. We felt welcome right away and loved the quirky decor (it's anything but sterile--love the style!) The staff was great, and my kids loved the play area full of books, a big blue bus and a reading loft (how cool is that!?) Our hygenist was fabulous with the kids- so patient, kind, talked to them on their level and let them explore the tools. It was the perfect introduction to the dentist for them. We met Dr. Bell, who has the perfect calming, bubbly, approachable demeanor for kids. She was quick, thorough and knowledgable. The kids are already asking when we can go back and see Dr. Bell!!! I can’t say enough good things about Camp Smile Excelsior! I brought my 2.5 year old for his first ever dentist appointment and he was very apprehensive about it all before going in. When we got there, we were greeted by very friendly staff and he loved playing on the truck in the waiting room! Then Heidi brought us back and was so sweet, playful, and comforting to my son. She met him where he was at developmentally, emotionally and physically, even sitting on the floor to play ball with him! She made him feel so comfortable that she was able to get a full cleaning done and I was amazed!! I thought we would be lucky to even get him to sit on the chair and she far exceeded my expectations. She thought of everything! Dr. Bobbi was incredible too. Such a sweet demeanor and easily connected with my son. She is patient and thoughtful in her approach, which my son and I both appreciated! We had a wonderful experience and will be recommending Camp Smile to everyone we know!

We were referred to Dr.Dan by our regular provider for our sons frenulectomy. The care staff were great, willing to answer any questions and walk through the procedure. My only complaint would be the front desk staff. When I called that morning to confirm my appointment you could tell she was less than enthused to be there. The same was to be said when we got there, and when we checked out. She didn’t bother looking at our insurance preauthorization and almost sent us out the door without paying.
