This was my first time shopping at this Browns location and I had a really great experience. All the staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. I ended up having some really nice conversations with the staff about the trip I was buying the shoes for, which made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Excellent customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, and great shoes! I’ll definitely be back!
I got some help today from Zahraa, she was so sweet and knowledgeable with shoe options! Helped me pick out the perfect pair of shoes for work :) I can recommend her and this store enough!
Moojan is a stellar saleswoman on the floor on the front lines!!! She was pleasant, helpful and extremely efficient. She had her co-worker search their inventory for the perfect shoes I found online, while she continued to serve other customers. I didn't mind waiting because she was so attentive and lovely. She deserves management recognition!!!

She has mobility issues which makes trying on shoes a very difficult process for her. Matthew was incredibly patient and attentive. He didn’t mind the extra time it took; instead, he proactively brought out different sizes and models to make the process easier for her. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond with such kindness. Thank you, Matthew, for turning what could have been a stressful errand into a great experience. We will definitely be back!"
Two weeks or so I bought a pair of winter boots and I finally found a pair that fit, were comfortable and I was happy I had lovely customer service. I bought the boots and left. I began wearing the boots and everything was great, after wearing them a couple times I noticed they were ripping where the loop was to help pull them on. I said this is not good. I called Browns to find out what I should do. They told me that they have a 1 year warranty and that I did not need to deal with the brand of the boot. I took the boots back and all the Browns protection products which I had not used yet and I got all my money back no questions asked. This is an AMAZING service and policy. Thank you Brown Shoes. I will be back.
My first time going to Brown's. I was looking for winter boots for my daughter and was greeted with a warm welcome and politeness. The staff were very helpful when I was looking something and told me different options to get the boots through the store. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my experience at the store. Loved the customer service. I haven't experienced top tier customer service in a while, it's really good to know that the staff makes people feel welcome and help people looking around, and very informative how they do things. I look forward on shopping here in the near future!
I had a great experience shopping at Browns. Chimdi was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process. She took the time to help me find the right shoes and made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really made a difference.
Iris was so helpful. She is so lovely. Whenever I come to Browns I usually look for her cause she is the best. Very knowledgeable too.

This is the best Browns location I’ve been to! I shop at Browns often, and this specific store at Yorkdale really stood out. The staff are attentive, friendly, and easy to approach. They even offer real socks (not the flimsy nylon ones) to try on shoes, and water too, such a nice touch.
Came in last Sunday to buy shoes and the service was fantastic! Alalin I believe was his name was super friendly and warm. I told him my shoe situation and he gave me his input based on shoes that he owns and he recommended me to give Hokas a try specifically the Clifton 10s. Safe to say I bought them and have worn them throughout these past 2 weeks and I love them!! Very enthusiastic, charismatic worker that was easy to talk to. I noticed he had passed the shoe off to a different sales associate to get and I had asked why and he stated he wasn’t doing sales he was in a different position on the floor and that completely blew me away. The unselfishness in this establishment is remarkable and if this is the calibre of staff Brown’s has, that’s amazing. I’ll be back for sure!
Browns has a good collection of shoes and footwear. And it’s a nicely lit store with very friendly people. Frank Cancian or “Frankie” is one helluva great warm friendly guy at the store who has a great sense of humour and makes your buying experience more worthwhile! Great job going there Frankie 👍

Visited browns at Yorkdale mall to purchase a pair of running shoes because my pair got stolen out of my car & I have an upcoming race I’m running so it was something I needed to buy. Unfortunately I didn’t buy anything but the sales associate who helped me today named Dante was extremely helpful and did more then just sell but provided an experience and demonstrated a high level of hospitality with a great personal twist , extremely charismatic and fun. whatever you do make sure to keep people like this on your team he feeds more then just sales but to your culture as a whole. Hope this reaches you well Dante I’ll be back soon to buy some shoes !

Fantastic service here, it’s nice to be able to relax and find the shoes I want with my mom and auntie. These days is so hard to find places that put customer first and Browns Shoes done a fanatic job to make us feel like home and we get a huge variety of select selections for most trendy most popular shoes that are great for our needs. Shoutout to Higor, he really made us feel comfortable to try things out and omg even offering water, my elderly auntie feels extremely grateful for his service. Sadly we can’t tip at the store otherwise we 100% would. Will return just to buy shoes from Higor but also every staff at store seems very approachable. Super friendly professional team 10/10! The store can get very crowded but luckily it seems like once you talk to a staff member, they will be able to help you all your needs, we were able to get seated right away to try things. But I’d still recommend to avoid high traffic time. Week day or early morning probably the best time to shop.
I had such a great experience shopping here! Lidiya was amazing—she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to help me find the perfect pair of Uggs. She even gave me helpful advice on sizing and recommended some cleaning products to keep them looking brand new. I really appreciated her patience and honesty. Excellent customer service—I’ll definitely be coming back!
I had an amazing experience today. I had a great guy victor who took great care of my mom and I when we were trying on shoes. Truly such a happy sole and was in such a great mood, even though it was beyond busy he stayed so calm and offered to get us whatever we needed. He also gave us disposable insoles for my new shoes so I can wear them with bare feet. Truly a perfect experience. Thank you!

Great experience here. Was very busy but staff made sure we were taken care of. I didn't catch the name of the employee helping us but she had brownish-red hair, with large glasses and braces. She was very kind and got us everything we needed

I knew what shoes I wanted and the moment I walked in the store, one of the sales reps over heard me and came to assist me right away. The store was very busy so I was surprised that I got assistance right away. The selection of shoes is pretty impressive, they had the exact shoes and size I was looking for. I couldn’t even find this color of shoes on the brands website so I was glad to see they had the exact shoes I was looking for. They also have really comfy chairs though I’m not sure how important that is. The sales rep that helped me was not pushy at all, she quickly got the shoes and sizes I requested and left me to make the decision on my own. I will definitely be going back when I need more shoes, especially sneakers and casual shoes because they have a fairly good selection of those.
My boyfriend and I had a great experience at this store. Victor was really helpful, attentive knowledgeable, and quick, without being overbearing. He even offered us a beverage as we were waiting. My boyfriend was able to find the shoes he needed and my shoes were not in stock, but were ordered for me. Would come back here!
Shoutout to the folks here. Called to check if they had a size of a Sorel duck boot and a Blundstone 2365 my wife wanted and a kind person reserved them for a day. Love the collection and pricing :) also love the easy return and refund process :)
I was at Brown’s back in December and had the absolute pleasure of entering the store and being served by a lovely sales rep by the name of Jana (or Jenna)! For context, I have a really hard time finding shoes that I like in my size due to my larger shoe size. I had been looking for winter boots in particular and at this point had visited over 10-12 stores across various cities and have had no luck finding shoes that work for me. At this point, I was giving up hope but I came across Brown’s in the Eaton and decided to go in and check it out. I enter the store and am immediately greeted by a smiling face. This sales rep (by the name of Jana), came up to me and asked me if I needed assistance. I explained my story to her and gave her a description of what I was looking for and she immediately got to work, pulling out different options for me (IN MY SHOE SIZE !!!!). The options were vast and fit the perfect description of what I was looking for. I went through a lot of pairs and kept asking Jana for more options until I found the perfect one and Jana was resourceful and she did not give up until I found the perfect shoe. She was patient, kind, funny, friendly, and all good things a sales rep should be. She wasn’t just looking to hit a quota but to genuinely help out her customers and she went above and beyond doing that. I am extremely content with my pair of shoes and with the service provided with this specific location and staff. Great job to Jana and the managers :)
