I had a great experience buying shoes at this location. Thank you to the team for their attentive customer service and Jake in particular, who helped me as I tried out the shoes. I did not feel any pressure from them and they were very helpful in explaining the different products so that I could make an informed decision.
Me and my husband went to markville mall Browns shoes store after work to shop for our vacation shoes. Derika was the lady to serve us today. She did a good job convincing me to buy three pair of shoes today (2 ON shoes and 1 New Balance) She also wiped my current shoes carefully. Well done.
I came in with my On Cloud shoes, the sole was peeling and they were still under warranty. I honestly expected to have to jump through hoops to prove it. Instead, Ryan greeted me like I was a valued customer coming in to browse, not someone there with a complaint. He made the whole experience completely comfortable and pressure-free. The replacement process was incredibly smooth from start to finish. No fuss, no hassle, just genuine, friendly service. Because of Ryan, I'll absolutely be coming back to Brown's Shoes again and again. This is exactly the kind of customer care that builds loyalty.

Great shopping experience with Rogilyn Gamboa and Emilia (cashier). My mom and I both had a smooth experience. This store had better stock and options compared to some other shoe stores in the area. I love the color of the ON shoes I was able to get. I actually made an order through the team and it was shipped and delivered to my home right on time. Will definitely come back to shop again!

I asked for a shoe in a certain size and he came back with 2 other shoes I may like as well & I’m glad he did as I went with one of the shoes he suggested. Based on the receipt I think his name was Robert. I was very indecisive (I wish I could have gotten two colours of the same shoe) so I came back shortly afterwards for a different colour & my exchange process was also with him and it was smooth and all around a great experience!
Thank you Rogilyn Gamboa for your services which nowadays we don’t get much of. I really enjoyed my shopping experience with you modeling the shoes for me. As I couldn’t decide if I should buy the Black or the Cream colour. I will definitely come back to this Markville Mall location in the future to shop for shoes.

I went to shop for a pair of running / hiking shoes yesterday February 19 2025 and met a wonderful sales representative Rogilyn Dalafu Gamboa. She advised to me when I told her that i am looking at the adidas shoes but she was honest to tell me that these Shoes are more for walking and not as suitable for hiking or running uphill. She showed me what she wore which is actually the appropriate hiking shoes. I appreciate and find it very refreshing to see how honest she is and I know from shopping to many malls downtown to Eaton centre, Yorkdale mall that this location at Markville mall has the best and honest sales representatives. Sadly that is rare to see anywhere in fashion industry. Rogilyn has a great eye for fashion and recommended as I was looking for spring shoes a new model from sorel (great Canadian shoe company) it’s modern fashion forward style that I can wear with many outfits as she suggested as well: pants skirts dresses long or short and shorts. It’s Versatile. She’s an amazing representative of Browns and I informed the lady at the cashier who advised they are honest and don’t just sell to get the sales. I strongly recommend people shop at browns Markville mall. Ask for Rogilyn ! She’s amazing
I recently purchased running shoes for my mom at Browns and was assisted by Rogilyn Dalafu Gamboa. She provided a great selection of comfortable shoes, perfect for a Valentine’s gift. I appreciated how she explained the benefits of the shoes for plantar fasciitis and highlighted how the use of polyurethane made them unique in terms of comfort and durability. Great shopping experience. Was interested in an item which was not available in the size required. Sales associate showed me another option and also offered to place an order of the item for direct shipping to my house. Item arrived the next afternoon, faster than I expected! Also a big thank you to the associate who brought me water while I had an unexpected cough attack. Great service!

I was just at the store this afternoon. Somebody greeted me right away and I got Help right away. Rogilyn is very friendly and helpful. She did not mind even though she had to go to the back a few times to get my shoes. I changed my mind a couple of times but she never showed me an attitude. She made a few suggestions which were very helpful. Very helpful

Came in at the store 8 weeks ago, the customer service was excellent, the lady who helped me her name is Rogilyn was very friendly, helpful, professional well experienced, with her bonus smile. I bought a pair. I came back with my husband 3 weeks ago and he purchased 2 pairs and was very pleased. Went back again yesterday and bought another pair for myself! A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I visited Browns and had the pleasure of receiving exceptional customer service from Nabil. From the moment we walked in, Nabil greeted us warmly and provided top-notch assistance throughout our entire shopping experience.
What stood out the most was Nabil's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction. He went above and beyond to help my boyfriend with any assistance we needed including offering to order the pair of shoes we wanted and helping him prepare the shoes that were brought out as he was trying them.
