I really want to give a special shoutout to the staff at the Fairview location. I brought in a pair of shoes I purchased online to be exchanged and they were sold out Canada wide in the size I wanted. The team quickly came up with a solution and was able to get the shoes held for me at Vaughan Mills. The staff were so friendly and accommodating despite me visiting on a busy Saturday and being disappointed to know that I couldn’t get the shoes shipped to me. They did everything in their power to make sure I would get the shoes and I really appreciate that! Thank you so much Browns Fairview team for all your help!

It seems like not only the variety you sell is some of the best for me, but I just bought another pair of Brown sandals yesterday, and that's thanks to Feven, who helped me! Customer service is supposed to be exactly what she did with excellence. I told her what I need and she brought me 3 pairs of sandals. I left with 1 of them and I am wearing them ever since. They are so comfortable! 😀

Last week, I went to Browns at Fairview Mall and I had a wonderful experience. A young lady named Veronica helped me; she was so sweet and willing to help. She showed me all the boats options I had and explained what would be the best deal. I am definitely coming back to Browns at Fairview whenever I need shoes. Also, she speaks Spanish, which made the experience ten times better and easier, allowing me to fully enjoy it. Once again, thank you to Veronica for being so kind and supportive.
I walked into the store looking for a particular pair of shoes. Unfortunately, they were out of my shoe size. I then asked for a blue Hoka runner, which I heard were the craze right now, and well worth their high price. Again, they didn’t have my shoe size in blue; however the salesperson (Feven) suggested another color, which I tried. She even went out of her way to check other locations for availability of both shoes I was interested in, and printed out a list of all the possible stores. She was very pleasant and helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. I strongly recommend her and the store, which was very well organized and the displays pleasing to the eyes.
I recently placed an online pickup order at Browns shoe fairview and the experience was great from start to finish. The store staff was friendly and welcoming when I arrived, and they had my order ready promptly. One of the staff members (I didn’t catch his name) was especially helpful—he not only assisted with my order but also encouraged me to try the shoes in-store to ensure the right fit. He even took the time to provide background information about other ON shoe models, which I really appreciated. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the shopping experience even better. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for great service and a helpful staff. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
I ordered a pair of ballet flats by mail and was sent running shoes instead by mistake. I was worried about doing the exchange but I had no problem bringing them into the store to exchange them for the flats I had ordered. The staff I interacted with were lovely and very helpful. It was one of the best customer service experiences I have had in any store. Would definitely return to this location!
Mary has exceptional customer service. While they didn't have size for me, she took the time to to bring me alternative colours and different insoles to make sure I had the right fit. She didn't question me and did not hesitate to bring me different sizes until I had the right fit. Being in the retail industry myself, she is a perfect example of an individual who is an attentive listener and provides exceptional service. I came back a week after to order my size and she remembered!! Amazing. Highly recommend!
The time had come to replace my Vans boots so I visited the mall at 8PM December 13, 2024. I initially had planned to visit 3 stores in the mall I usually go to but none of them had what I was looking for. By chance I walked past Browns and didn't know about this store but was enticed by their display of boots by the entrance. Once inside I was able to find a section of boots matching the exact style I was looking for. The staff were very kind and helpful; one lady dressed in all black explained which were waterproof vs. ones that were not and another staff member (I did not get her name, but she had curly hair, was wearing a white jacket and blue jeans) helped me try on several pairs before I ultimately picked the ones I liked. I really like my new pair of brown North Face Larimer Mid boots and want to thank the staff for a positive shopping experience. Even though the mall and this store was packed with holiday shoppers I felt well looked after and was offered help even without having to ask for assistance. Edit: It is 12/28/2024 and unfortunately I have to change my rating to 4 stars. When I was at the store, at the cash register the cashier asked me for my email address and when I asked what it was for, I was told it was just to keep on file in case I came back for a return or to pull up the order. Instead the company seems to have added my email to all of their mailing lists without my consent and has begun spamming my inbox. In 10 days they sent me 12 emails, this is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. On December 23rd they sent me 3 emails in one day. Here I am trying to spend time with my family during the holidays and instead have to waste time trying to slow down an online onslaught by Browns. There has to be some way this violates Canada's new anti-spam legislation. Such a shame they do this digitally to annoy customers after the staff in the store work hard to look after shoppers.

I had a fun and positive experience buying Hoka shoes for fall @Browns at Fairview Mall thanks to Meyling and Leo. They are exceptional in their customer service. They are friendly, helpful in finding the right size and style for me and my long walks… I will return to this Browns’ location as a result of their amazing service. Meyling & Leo are great brand ambassadors for Browns🙌

I was recently helping an elderly relative shop for winter boots and the staff at Brown's in Fairview Mall could not have been nicer. In particular, Feven (I hope I have spelled her name correctly) was very pleasant and helpful. Feven listened to my relative, stayed with him while he tried on several boots (not many stores will do this), solicited his feedback and answered all of his questions. In the end, he came away happy with a new pair of boots. Other salespeople also acknowledged us and made sure we were satisfied with our shopping experience. I will be back for my own shoe needs and cannot recommend Feven and this Brown's store enougth!
This store was by far the best experience at Browns I've ever had. It was the customer experience that made the difference. Precious and Jaehyen went so out of their way to help, I would recommend this store hands down. Customer service these days makes such a difference. Great job!

Went in for a quick visit last week ,, Marjan was extremely helpful! She was on the floor dealing with multiple customer requests at the same time, how busy the store was , youd think the service would be slow, but No! She managed to make me feel like I am the only ones there! Finally, she genuinely helped me by informing about the different options available and showed me some shoe cares aswell ,, I came to buy a pair of shoes but I left the store with 5 boxes which I love them so much Im in customer service myself and these days, its become extremely rare to encounter amazing experiences like this one A very special thanks to Marjan ,, I would Really loved to work with her .

Some people have no business being in management positions. The Manager is unpleasant, unprofessional and unapproachable. Definitely not manager material. I've been a Brown's customer for years and I will never again step foot in any Brown's location. Don't bother asking people to contact your customer service department to discuss their experiences. A true customer service department should be the ones to reach out to their unsatisfied customers. If I could give this Manager a 0 rating, I would.
