Dr. Gordon is by far the BEST dermatologist I have ever seen, and I’ve been to dozens upon dozens of them. He is super-smart, personable, and conducts a thorough diagnosis. Unbeknownst to me, I’ve had an internal skin infection underneath the nasal area of my face for the past three years. It caused my skin to turn reddish with white crusty scales. It also produced a huge amount of a yellowish liquid which I extracted with an extractor. Every other dermatologist misdiagnosed my condition as either rosacea or acne and prescribed medication which did nothing to alleviate my symptoms. But Dr. Gordon immediately diagnosed my condition as seborrheic dermatitis inflamed by an underlying bacterial infection. He prescribed Cyclopirox ointment for my skin, Cyclopirox shampoo for my scalp, and Docycycline for the infection. Within two weeks my condition is drastically improved. I am so grateful to have Dr. Gordon as my dermatologist, and if you need an amazing dermatologist then I wholeheartedly recommend you see Dr. Gordon!

I have always vouched for Schweiger dermatology group, but after becoming a patient I vouch even more. When I visited, I saw Haleh Stratton, PA-C, and when I say she was amazing!!! For starters the wait time was so minimal, even with me being a new patient and having to fill out some new patient information. Intake performed by the MA was quick and straight to the point, she asked me relevant questions to the reason I was visiting. Then when I saw Haleh, who was the sweetest ever, she was very educated and informed me of what was going on with my skin and why. (It was an acne visit). This was so important to me because I wanted to understand why my skin was breaking out vs just throwing treatments at me. After explaining what was happening, she then provided me with options. Both topical treatments, and medications, and we discussed what we felt worked for me and my specific situation. Even after she recommended what she felt was best, she still asked if it was something I was comfortable with. She was very attentive, she listened to me, and once again the sweetest person I’d ever met. I will be returning for all my dermatology needs, and I’ve already recommended Schweiger to my family & friends.

Dr. Edward Darwin is simply an outstanding dermatologist. My 82 year old mother has had a finger infection for the past two months. Her primary care doctor gave her medication. Her former dermatologist gave her medication. These doctors were throwing pills like confetti, and it did not work! NOT Dr. Darwin. Dr. Darwin, did a culture test on this infection and based on the results found the correct antibiotic and ointment to use. He also prescribed a home remedy of White vinegar and water, which worked surprisingly well. Most important of all; Dr. Darwin took the time to call me about my mother’s test results, the best route to heal the infection and possible side effects. He is professional. Caring, an excellent diagnostician and patient with patients.

waiting time wasn't too long, staff was personable, efficient, and polite. MD too was efficient, listened to my questions and concerns, was thorough, gave the visit as much time as I needed. I just wish you had more hours for MD visits at the ave J office. I would have to wait mid January to get a visit in the ave J office which feels unacceptable.

Dr. Keefe and the other staff I encountered were all so nice and helpful! I was running a few minutes late so I was kind of frazzled when I arrived. The receptionist was very calming and reassuring. Once I went through the new patient intake, there was no wait. Overall, it was a very pleasant office (convenient by subway) and I would definitely go back for any reason. One thing to note is that this is a building with a lobby reception/visitor check-in so you may want to factor in a couple extra minutes for that. Also very convenient to book through Zocdoc!

First time we came to this office(court st) and it was a great experience. Veryprofessional. We got there 45 min before my son's appointment and there was no problem. Office is clean and the Dr that treated my son was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of his acne. It feels soo wonderful when the doctor connects to your overall well-being. We will def come back!!!Anyone who writes that office isn't clean really needs to have their eyes examined!!

This is one of the better dermatology experiences I have had. Both Dr. Freilich and his assistant Surantie were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in treating my recent severe outbreak of plaque psoriasis. The regimen they prescribed was fast-working and extremely effective. When my insurance company balked and denied approval (several times), they were very responsive to getting the necessary documents and appeals submitted. I highly recommend this clinic!

Last week I had the pleasure of going to Schweiger Dermatology Group. From start to finish the whole experience was a pleasant one. The staff was warm and welcoming, they were very professional but still liked to have fun with their patients, it was a relaxed atmosphere that made you feel comfortable about being there. The highlight for me was Kelly Wood, she was absolutely outstanding – I have been getting Botox for more than 10 years and I have never had an experience like hers. She was gentle and very good with the administration and she took time to explain what she was doing and why. Her care meant a lot to me and I will be coming back again. Thank you to Kelly and the entire team at the office.

Dr. Boutros was very helpful and I thought the staff were great. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars was they sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacist, but that's a simple miscommunication.
Dr. Darwin provided expert care and took the time to thoroughly explain things, was available to go over test results by phone, and gave me complete confidence I was in good hands. Very highly recommended!
