Amen Clinic scheduling, process, testing and efficiency were remarkable. We were prepared for every step. Mo was the technician that worked with my son to get him ready for the scan and ran the scan. My son was nervous, apprehensive about the IV insertion and remaining still for the scan. Mo was so patient, compassionate and authentic. Riley was also terrific. Those that greeted us upon arrival were courteous and friendly. I can’t wait to get the results and will update when I have more opinions.

Wonderful service by all. Mo is a highly skilled professional who also has exceptional interpersonal skills. He clearly explained all the procedures and answered all of our questions. He took a personal interest in us and made us feel like our health was important to him. Toniann and Ashely are friendly and also answered all our questions with clarity and patience. Donaya took us through the protocol with patience and demonstrated effective listening and questioning skills. Our meetings with Dr. Johnson were very informative. I just finished up my second scan (they do 2) and wanted to review this clinic and let everyone know how amazing my experience has been! From the start of walking in the door you are greeted by the front desk ladies and asked how you are feeling (I love that!) I wish I got their names but they are so so kind and helpful, they had asked when I left today if I wanted to move my next appointment to a sooner date which was so thoughtful. I really appreciated that! I believe her name was Daniyel. The staff at this clinic in Hollywood really are top notch and made the experience the best! After you arrive they take you back and have you do assessments on a computer and then take you to a private room to do the medication for the brain scan. Super easy and painless! I wanted to give a special shoutout to Moe. He was so kind and funny and made my experience so much fun and put me at ease. His phlebotomy skills are the best I've ever experienced. No bruising and was painless!
The brain scans were so easy and comfortable! They help you up on the board and you lay down and get comfortable and then they wrap you up in a blanket to keep you comfortable but also helps you not to accidentally move during the scan as you can't move so it can scan the brain properly. It only last about 20 minutes. Goes by super quick! They even update you to let you know during it how many minutes you have left which is so helpful. COMPASSIONATE, HELPFUL, & EASY. Would be the words I would describe my experience at the Amen Clinic. Every single person I've encountered has been so helpful and I can tell they have all been extensively trained in customer service and customer care. Ashley has also been a fantastic care coordinator and has followed up with me and taken her time speaking with me. She even called me before we met just to introduce herself to me and to let me know I could reach out to her if I had any questions! You are in great hands at Amen Clinic. I do want to add, yes it is expensive however I view it as an investment in myself. They are willing to work with you on pricing and I know they also take care credit so please don't let price scare you. Thank you Amen Clinic of Hollywood!

I started my journey with the Amen Clinic 1.5 years ago. I'm so glad I found them by chance! I was desperate. I had suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI ) and my recovery was not going well. I was lost, uncertain what was going on and what to do - I was spinning. I cannot tell you the number of times I have recommended the Amen Clinic to others. If you have anything Psychological or Neurological going on, this is the place to go! I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to my doctor, Dr. Johnson and Patient Care Coordinator, Precious Sargent, who have both been a godsend in my medical journey and I'm not sure what I would have done without their incredible support along the way. Even though the AMEN CLINIC does not accept health insurance, the SPECT SCANS are worth the money because it provides concrete data as a foundation for the 12-month treatment plan. My psychiatrist Dr HECTOR RODRIGUEZ and DONAYA HAMILTON patiently help patients understand the meaning of what is revealed by the SPECT scans. The final evaluation is a 24-page report heavy on details about the findings. Many friends and family members all wanted to know the findings, and asked if the treatment is worth it. —- My experience was worth the investment because my health insurance deductible was twice the cost of the treatment.

2020 I went to Chicago for treatment spec imaging. I had a bicycle accident and returned in 2023 for spec imaging, I didn't know if I was getting dementia, coming to find out I had a traumatic brain injury and severe damage to the left and right frontal lobe. Let me start by saying I am in my late 50’s and have fought anxiety and depression since my late teen years. I have been a “Guinea pig” with multiple medications prescribed for years with little help. I chose the Amen clinic by checking reviews, YouTube, and doing my own research. I am not “rich” by any means, yes, this place is pricey, does not take my insurance, but I used my insurance to cover blood work, my mental health therapist, and I have Care Credit and that is a blessing. I am fortunate enough to have a husband who accompanied me from Orlando to the Hollywood, Florida Clinic which relieved some of my anxiety. Everyone was very sweet to me at their office. I went in giving it my all. The office staff, from the front desk, to Dr. Rodriguez assistant Mayroby, to the Patient Outcome Manager, Donaya was patient, kind, and great with me and my husband. It really was the best two hours of my life with a psychiatrist. I think you have to trust the process and be patient mainly with yourself. After all you didn’t get to where you are overnight and it’s not going away overnight. Yes, I was put on a bunch of supplements, that being said, I asked for discounts and I was provided with discounts and coupons. I also knew that I would have to change my eating habits. I knew this was going to be the case going into this. I am 3 months into changing me. The Amen Clinic has been with me thru it all, step by step, checking in with me. My advice is that you have to be proactive. You need to connect with your own general practitioner and your therapist. Your healthcare is your responsibility with or without health insurance. I am still going through this process and I made the decision, along with Dr. Rodriguez to continue my journey with his guidance. I have not regretted any of this. To end this review, yes, I would do this again and would love to go back for another spect scan to see my progress. Financially, however that isn’t going to happen. Went for my tween who has some Neuroimmune issues that affect behavior and psyche (mold toxicity & PANS for those who know what that is), and for the first time instead of just pushing psych meds and misdiagnosing her, they actually based their recommendations on imaging. Treatment plan was completely holistic, recommending things doctors have never suggested and I love that most of the supplements are things that we use for PANS anyway, targeting inflammation, detoxing and brain health not just covering her flares with meds. Our doctor was incredibly kind and compassionate and relatable. She actually found thyroid antibodies that our other docs have been running panels that are always normal but missed the autoimmune aspect (despite knowing AI conditions increase chance for other AI issues). If you are a PANS parent I highly recommend this!

I have a lot of trauma in my history so it can be hard to want to bring stuff up sometimes but talking with Melanie was like talking to a good friend. She was patient, funny, and a good listener. Don't we all need that? To feel heard in these tough situations. I feel like I had an ideal experience at the Amen Clinic, I felt like an individual and respected at all times. They help with a treatment plan that is uniquely made for you. Don't be intimidated by the assessments, the results are to help you! I have something to work on due to my brain injury but I got a lot of positive feedback too, which feels good through these times. Just be open to suggestions! I have started the supplements to improve my brain health and you can go back after a few months to get another scan and watch your brain improve if you want! I went to the Amen Clinic after I was exhausted with a typical doctor that wouldn't listen to me long enough or at all and after many doctors turning me away with no answers. The Amen Center works hard to help you, hear you , and heal you and I would highly recommend their services!
