Recovered a Great Experience! I reached out to the team to get a quote for a locked file cabinet opening. The price I was given was most agreeable and the on-site appointment was scheduled. Regretfully, we had a mixup... but Mrs. Carmen Mendoza made herself available to listen and understand the situation. In the end we were able to work everything out to a fantastic experience! Shoutouts to everyone on the team with whom I spoke. Great professionals through it all... even the tough conversations. They were ALL amazing! Anahi, Armando, Kenneth, and Carmen (worth mentioning again). We will certainly be recommending A-1 Locksmith McKinney and working with them for future business and residential needs! Best,

I asked for prices from mobile and physical shops and they were very close to $200. Sam set me up for a whole lot less and was very kind! Very happy with my experience at A-1 in Frisco! Glad I didn’t listen to shops that said it’s difficult to program and cut my key fob because Sam did it in less than 3 minutes lol.

I bought a somewhat large safe with the understanding that it could be installed with the legs attached. The technicians arrived and did their best but they were unable to install the safe as expected because they lacked the equipment necessary. I appreciate the work and care your technicians did representing your company but it would be great if they had the ability to install the safe as your floor sales person said it would be installed. Overall, I would still recommend A-1 Locksmith to friends and family. Best Regards.

This location is closed and they are using this as a placeholder to gain business for other locations. While the service of this company is good this is not an ok practice. Reply to A1:Close this physical location on Google then so people don't try to go to it thinking it's open. This is deceptive business practice. You can easily update this location to being a placeholder of city only and mark it as we come to your location so folks don't come to this exact address.

After having an issue come up that required new keys at my residence, I was extremely impressed with the 5 star out of 5 star customer service, empathy, and skills that the entire A-1 Locksmith team made to schedule and redesign and provide new keys. WOW! Don is the BEST! We have 3 cars at our house that only have one key. We need spares. I called all over McKinney for quotes, Don was the biggest help over the phone AND he gave me the best price. I went in today, Don provided SUPERB customer service and earned a customer for life in me. And, I will be taking hubby back to see those awesome safes, I am sure he will "need" one.

Easily a 5/5 experience. The people at this store will see that your needs are met, from start to finish. I can't believe I'm saying this, but a trip to this shop was the highlight of my month. This is not because I'm particularly boring (I mean, I am) but because it was a fantastic experience. They sourced the blanks I needed for duplicate keys for my new moto and cut exact working dupes for a great low low price, whereas the dealership ("stealership"...amirite?) wanted beaucoup bucks for the same thing. Great experience; so glad this place is right around the corner from me.

The person that answered the phone was a touch unfriendly (sounded annoyed at having had to answer my call) but the actual service after that was awesome. Seth came out to make us a new key as the original had been lost and we didn't have a spare. He was able to do it in about 10-15 min. He was extremely friendly and professional. Would highly recommend A-1 Locksmith solely based on the service Seth offered us! :) We paid a total of $161.29 for the key, programming and their drive to our address.

These people are amazing. My Prius key got locked in my car (which isn’t supposed to happen but the fob battery was low). I called them and they lowered the price since they were slow tonight. The guy they sent was on time and so nice. Of course... once he got there, my key responded to my hand on the handle and it opened. I had tried this about 100 times in the previous hour so it was just a weird coincidence. They waved the $55 service fee for me even though they drove out to me. Nicest thing ever. I absolutely recommend them.

Unbelievable how easy it was to get a key made with them. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The dealership was charging me $150 for 1 key. I recommend them to anyone who's looking to get a key made. They provided the key, cut and programmed it for less then half the dealership price (2002 Honda Civic). Absolutely amazing thank you Don

These guys are GREAT!!! I got a new smart key programmed for my 2018 Edge yesterday and it only took about 15 minutes. They also saved me north of $100 vs local $dealership rates. Jamey Mathers is the tech who handled everything in a prompt and professional manner . Jamey and Donnie , the boss are both very friendly and easy to deal with . I needed to get a couple of keys made for my Jeep Wrangler. One dealership wanted $250 per key. Another wanted $186 per key. Three automotive locksmiths in the area wanted $170-$180 per key. A-1 quoted $80 per key, but ended up making me 2 keys for $79. And if you want to meet some friendly guys, try A-1. They‘re fairly new to McKinney, but they are a great addition to our fine city. I highly recommend them for any locksmith services.
