Had a great experience with Chris Barhall (sp?) at the Arlington location. I had a motorcycle key that was really a problem to duplicate, but he found a similar one, duplicated it, and it worked perfectly. I appreciate the effort he put in this to get it replicated and to warn me ahead of time that since the key had a chip in it (which I didn't know about), I should call the motorcycle dealership to find out if it needed programming (which would have cost me hundreds of dollars and if so, duplication of this key would not have been worth it. All worked out well. Thank you Chris.

Absolutely great experience with Ismael Rodriguez from A-1 safes! I called them around 2pm and at 2:30pm he was at the property and did great job on installing two deadbolts and a viewer. Visiting Texas for six flags and lost key to my tonneau cover. Was able to get it open and pull lock cylinder out. They were able to re key it same day (friday). Excellent and knowledgeable staff, if I ever find myself in the Arlington area and needing a key I know who to go to.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Ken at the Arlington location was beyond helpful. I just bought a 1989 Cabriolet that I only had an ignition key for and he made a door, boot and glove box key BY HAND. It took some time (and it was 100+ degrees) but he ultimately made the perfect key. He was an excellent communicator and so great to work with. I'm so happy to have worked with A-1 and Ken. I would highly recommend you go to this location for all your locksmithing needs! :)

They were very nice and did not try to make me take their mobile service. I already had purchased and programmed a FOB for my vehicle with a scan/diagnostic computer and just needed the emergency key cut. They allowed me to bring it to them and only charged $50 plus tax. Everyone else wanted a $150 or more.

I lost my spare car key fob a few years ago and was quoted $500 at a dealership for replacement. Recently lost my remaining fob, so I called A-1 for service to my house. They ordered my fob ( not in stock) and called me when it came in. I told the man that I had since found my fob but still needed a spare. He told me that I could save money by driving my car to the shop to get the replacement programmed. The young man at the shop only charged me $125 for the job. Excellent company!

This is the ONLY locksmith you can count on between Arlington and Fort Worth. All the locksmiths in Fort Worth want you to make an appointment then they never call you back. In the 25 years I have lived in the DFW area this is the only locksmith I can count on that you can actually walk in the building, look at safes, get keys without is being run around. Keys have always worked perfect. Come here first and don’t waste time.

I visited A1 locksmiths today, to have the key fob for my vehicle programmed. I had gone to the dealership who wanted to charge $150 to program my key fob. I called two other local locksmith, who both wanted to charge me over $100 each to program the key fob for my vehicle. So I stopped by A1 locksmiths today, spoke to Tyler. He was able to take care of me within 10 minutes. He programmed my key fob and the cost was extremely reasonable compared to every other person I spoke to. I highly recommend A1 locksmiths if you have any locksmithing or Key needs in your future. I will be going back to this business in the future.

I was coming to the store at 12pm on Wed, the 6th. I met the only guy there named Jose, he was very nice and professional, he got my key duplicate like under 15mins, all fit to my car, functional very well. Hight line here, no harassments as you come to other stores with your own supplies, no paying for the stock they have, just pay for the service them cutting key. Visited 5/29/21 approx. 10:15 OMG!! Jose saved my life! I was messing with the settings of my car and turned on “MyKey”! Apparently, I didn’t have the admin key to turn it off! 🙄. I told Jose what happened and he offered me 3 solutions to fix the problem. I liked his 2nd option and we rolled with that one. He created my new key and programmed it— it worked. Now I can go over 80mph and turn my radio up! Jose was so friendly and amazing. We even joked a bit. He was so patient and explained the process and the wait time it took to get it all programmed. Used A-1 Locksmith to open up my car after the keys were locked inside. Great service, flat rate for the opening that was indicated in the phone and matched after service was complete, quick response time. Highly recommended. Beware in general when looking for someone to unlock a car, that many of those other companies subcontract out the service and may claim one price as a "starting" price then you're left to haggle with the person who shows up. None of that with A-1. Also I noticed that many of those other companies have high ratings on Google but if you actually read them, many of them are similar reviews (likely bots). Probably an effort to bury all the negative reviews.

I lost the key fob to my car and called many different places who offer mobile services but were overcharging by a lot. I had a relative refer me over to A1 Locksmith and I don't regret it. They took down my information, let me know they had to order my key for me and that it could take a couple days for it to get there. They called me the very next day, said they had the key, came to my house within the hour and got the job done within 20-30 mins! They even give a discount to first time customers! it saved me at least $200 for what I would've paid at a dealership. Overall 5 star service, especially with the communcation. Very professional and friendly staff. I highly reccommend this place.

He was very courteous, respectful, and professional with a friendly and positive attitude. He was also very knowledgable and efficient. He did not waste ant tiime and went straight to work to reset 8 locks in my new home,. At the same time, he anwered all my questions and concerns to my complete satisfaction. He had an attentive and respecful apprentice named Alex who accompanied him on the job. We called A-1 Locksmith to manufacture an ignition key for my son's vehicle. We were told during our initial phone conversation that the cost of service would be $199.99. I was prepared to dispute the technician's invoice due to the reputation most locksmith organizations have made for themselves and their vertical/industry by inflating the final invoice for less than admirable reasons. Color me blown away... our Technician, Shawn Lacy, was very punctual - extremely friendly - very knowledgeable - and completed the service call in record time. The total upon completion was exactly what we were quoted via phone + tax. I hope to never require the service of a locksmith again, but if the need arises, A-1 Locksmith will be my first call. Went in to get a key cut and programmed for my car. For some crazy reason it then unprogrammed the original key but I had already gone when I found out. I came back a couple of days later to have them look at it and it took them a couple of hours to get it working. They did all that for me without charging extra and without any complaint. This is the best, fastest, most friendly lock smith I’ve ever called. I called it in and the lady was super helpful and friendly said it would take about 35-40min for a lock smith to come out. Not even 20min later Joshua Lacy calls me saying he’s on his way...after 1 try and alarm going off only once my car was unlocked just that fast. It took another locksmith 2days before him 2 hours to try and get it with no luck at all. Thank you Joshua so much for friendly and fast working job. He deserves a raise b/c he knew what he was doing. Most locksmiths take up to an hour with my Toyota Camry 2008 but he had no trouble at all. 5 Stars all the way will be recommending you guys to everyone I can. Thank you for such a blessed day. I never had a personal encounter with these guys but as a locksmith myself I study allot of people in my industry nation wide and after doing my research I found these guys to be a model company in the industry! I read many great reviews and love how they treat there customers and they clearly have a great marketing department by the looks of there website and postings on Google plus. I read one negative review and unfortunately I face the same issue with customers. There is no locksmith out there who can afford to only charge $15! Based off of the review the people at A-1 Locksmith clearly told him that $15 was for the "service call" not the for the final price. Overall, Great work guys, Keep it up!! :)

Had a great experience with Chris Barhall (sp?) at the Arlington location. I had a motorcycle key that was really a problem to duplicate, but he found a similar one, duplicated it, and it worked perfectly. I appreciate the effort he put in this to get it replicated and to warn me ahead of time that since the key had a chip in it (which I didn't know about), I should call the motorcycle dealership to find out if it needed programming (which would have cost me hundreds of dollars and if so, duplication of this key would not have been worth it. All worked out well. Thank you Chris.
